據(jù)阿拉伯貿(mào)易網(wǎng)2022年3月29日迪拜報(bào)道，在全球能源論壇的一次會(huì)議上，區(qū)域和全球?qū)＜揖烷_始實(shí)施凈零目標(biāo)原則的緊迫性進(jìn)行了辯論。  

全球能源論壇以“能源轉(zhuǎn)型的地緣政治”為主題，探討“零凈世界中的石油和天然氣”的挑戰(zhàn)，并與能源行業(yè)領(lǐng)軍者的凈零雄心保持一致。  

全球能源論壇由大西洋理事會(huì)與世界政府首腦會(huì)議(WGS2022)合作主辦，一個(gè)由國(guó)際專家組成的高強(qiáng)度小組，包括阿聯(lián)酋能源和基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施部能源和石油事務(wù)副部長(zhǎng)謝里夫·阿爾·奧拉馬、歐佩克秘書長(zhǎng)穆罕默德·薩努西·巴爾金多、桑普拉基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施公司總裁Dan Brouillette、加拿大皇家銀行資本市場(chǎng)總經(jīng)理兼全球商品戰(zhàn)略主管Helima Croft博士、Hunt 統(tǒng)一能源公司首席執(zhí)行官兼總裁Hunter Hunt、 尼日利亞國(guó)家石油公司(NNPC)集團(tuán)總經(jīng)理Mele Kyari。

通過論壇討論全球氣候變化會(huì)議的觀點(diǎn)，如在埃及的COP27和在阿聯(lián)酋的COP28，小組成員表示，需要采取的決定將對(duì)投資和基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施發(fā)展產(chǎn)生積極影響，以解決最近的全球挑戰(zhàn)和積極的解決方案。  

奧拉馬表示，當(dāng)今地緣政治形勢(shì)的影響意味著，投資油氣行業(yè)對(duì)于將投資挑戰(zhàn)與向更可持續(xù)、更多樣化的能源轉(zhuǎn)型聯(lián)系起來至關(guān)重要。

巴爾金多說：“利用在埃及召開的COP27會(huì)議開始重新定義石油和天然氣在全球能源領(lǐng)域的對(duì)話和角色，這是塑造未來的一個(gè)重要機(jī)會(huì)。”他補(bǔ)充道：“我們需要表現(xiàn)出包容性，確保所有能源都能實(shí)現(xiàn)這一目標(biāo)，因?yàn)槲覀兺鈿夂蚰繕?biāo)，石油和天然氣的作用不是相互排斥的，以幫助引領(lǐng)未來走向更可持續(xù)的能源轉(zhuǎn)型。”

Brouillette表示，從國(guó)際角度來看，油氣行業(yè)可以通過鼓勵(lì)各方進(jìn)行新的對(duì)話來“重置”，讓社會(huì)中的每一個(gè)人都能更加明確我們需要遵循的轉(zhuǎn)型路徑，以實(shí)現(xiàn)未來的積極變化。”

Croft博士肯定了未來基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施和投資對(duì)政府實(shí)現(xiàn)凈零目標(biāo)的影響和影響的挑戰(zhàn)，以及開始實(shí)施凈零目標(biāo)原則的緊迫性。

Global Energy Forum probes role of oil in net-zero world

The urgency needed to start implementing the principles of the net-zero goal came up for debate between regional and global experts at a session during the Global Energy Forum. 

The forum took ‘The Geopolitics of Energy Transition’ as the theme to explore the challenges of ‘Oil and Gas in a Net Zero World’ and to be in alignment with the net-zero ambitions of energy industry leaders.

The Global Energy Forum is being hosted by the Atlantic Council in collaboration with the World Government Summit (WGS2022) a high-powered panel of international experts included Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec), Dan Brouillette, President of Sempra Infrastructure, Dr Helima Croft, Managing Director and Head of Global Commodity Strategy at RBC Capital Markets, Hunter Hunt, CEO and President of Hunt Consolidated Energy, and Mele Kyari, Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Discussing points of view through the forum about global climate change conferences, such as COP27 in Egypt and COP28 in the UAE, panellists said decisions need to be taken that will affect positively in investment and infrastructure development to solve recent and proactive solutions for global challenges.

Al Olama stated the impact of today’s geopolitical situation means that investing in the oil and gas sector is crucial to connect the challenge of the investment alongside with the transition to more sustainable and diversified energy.

Barkindo said: “Using the conference COP27 in Egypt to begin redefining the conversation and the role of oil and gas in the global energy community is a major opportunity to shape the future”. He added: “We need to show inclusiveness and ensure it for all energy as we agree the climate goals and that role of oil and gas are not mutually exclusive, to help in leading towards a more sustainable energy transition for the future.”

Taking an international perspective, Brouillette said the oil and gas industry can “reset” by encouraging new dialogues between all parties to enable each person in the society to bring more clarity to the transition path that we need to follow for positive changes in the future.”

Dr Croft affirmed the challenge of implications and impact of future infrastructure and investment to achieve the goals of net-zero by the governments and the challenge of urgency to start implementing the principles of the net-zero goal.
