　　Rise witnessed in oil prices amidst market positive sentiment

　　On Tuesday, Jun. 8 oil prices rose, boosted by optimism observed in market sentiment.

　　Brent crude for delivery of August soared 73 cents to settle at USD72.22 per barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. The West Texas Intermediate for delivery of July increased 82 cents to close at USD70.05 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

　　Eugen Weinberg, energy analyst at Commerzbank Research, stated in a note on Tuesday: "the fundamental environment on the oil market remains favourable: fuel demand is recovering strongly not only in the US, but also in Europe following the (partial) lifting of restrictions."
